The KDCP Duke TIP SAT* Prep Program
The KDCP Duke TIP SAT* Program is the track for seventh graders who have been invited to participate in the Duke Talent Identification Program to take the SAT*.

What it includes

  • Instructor-Led Classes designed to prepare for the current year's SAT* test. Classes are limited to no more than ten, creating a dynamic, interactive environment that encourages even shy students.
  • Instructor-Led Workshops available weekly to support continuing improvement and mastery of testing skills.
  • Computer Vocabulary Labs supplement vocabulary development offered in lessons and workshops in order to maximize verbal scores.
  • Practice Tests with Instructor-Led Review Sessions provide experience in actual test events, reduce test anxiety, and ensure continued mastery of content and testing skills.
  • Continued Support is available through the student's test date in December or January of the seventh grade year.
